Furatena Cacao began trial tests to produce its new product
Furatena Cacao, the company belonging to The Muzo CompaniesColombia dedicated to the production of products based on caco grown in western Boyacá, has reached an exciting milestone by starting trial tests to manufacture its first high-quality chocolate coating in its production plant located in Chiquinquirá.
Since its opening at the beginning of 2023, the production plant has managed to successfully develop cacao liquor that has already begun to be marketed. With this consolidated product and the trial tests for the manufacture of casing underway, Furatena Cacao continues to take firm steps towards its goal of offering a wide range of high-quality cacao products with the vision of becoming a leading company in the industry.
Trial tests are a crucial step in this process, as they allow you to assess the quality of the new product and identify potential production challenges. This provides the opportunity to apply the necessary improvements to ensure successful commercialization at scale. Although there is still work to be done to refine and perfect the recipe and production process, the dedicated team at Furatena Cacao work tirelessly to bring their couverture to market, thus expanding their offering and providing chocolate lovers with a premium choice.
The advances obtained so far are not only an achievement for the company, but also generate opportunities for progress for local cacao growers in the West of Boyacá. These farmers, who apply sustainable agricultural practices promoted by the Muzo Foundation, are the suppliers of the grain used in the production plant. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to sustainability and support for local communities, while seeking to raise quality standards in the chocolate industry.
